A grounded, compassionate space to be witnessed as you are.
I work collaboratively with clients to understand their experiences within the context of their lived realities, cultural roots, relationships, and the environments that have shaped them.
Our sessions offer a space where your experiences can be witnessed and held—
whether they involve sorrow, joy, confusion, trust, discomfort, or the many
emotions in between.
Together, we can also explore your hopes and the direction you want your life to move toward. You are welcome to come exactly as you are. Whether you are seeking to better understand your experiences, feel heard and seen, build practical tools for emotional resilience and distress tolerance, or heal after trauma, my role is to walk alongside you with compassion and care.
Clinical training, lived experience, and an integrative approach.
The therapeutic space I create alongside my clients is informed by both my clinical training and lived experience. I am a Registered Social Worker providing therapy and counselling services, bringing together approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and somatic-based practices into my work with clients.
I take an integrative approach, thoughtfully weaving together different therapeutic frameworks to honour the uniqueness of each person’s experiences, while grounding my work in anti-oppressive, attachment-based, and feminist perspectives.
My practice is research-informed, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. I also incorporate psychoeducation to help you better understand what you are experiencing while providing practical resources to support your healing and growth. I bring over three years of experience as a gender-based violence counsellor in non-profit community settings, as well as experience supporting individuals and families navigating illness.
“I believe therapy can hold both the pain we carry and the possibility of something gentler, more connected, and more aligned with who we are becoming.”
The person I am shapes the way I show up in this work.
I am a Punjabi woman living on the ancestral, unceded, and stolen territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. As a racialized settler on these colonized lands, I regularly reflect on how the physical and spiritual footprints I leave impact the land, my community, and those around me.
My life's work has been deeply shaped by my own healing journey, one that has often asked me to hold both pain and joy at the same time. Throughout this journey, I have been supported by my spirituality, family, community, therapist, yoga, and mindfulness practices while navigating autoimmune diseases, severe food allergies, and profound grief after the passing of my beloved grandmother.
I also know what it feels like to feel lonely in a crowded room; to experience my inner child as needing protection; to feel frustrated, scared, or overwhelmed when life feels beyond my control; and to carry the weight of intergenerational trauma while navigating cultural and familial expectations. These experiences continue to shape how I show up in relationships—with myself, my loved ones, and my clients.
